Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction while managing staff, resources, and overall hotel performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, and human resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve service quality.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures to achieve budgetary goals.
- Maintain effective communication with guests to address concerns and feedback promptly.
- Ensure the hotel meets all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel’s services and enhance its visibility in the market.
- Utilize phone systems effectively for reservations, inquiries, and guest communications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse clientele.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling phone systems efficiently.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with resort operations is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
