What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Aide position at Red Roof Inns, Inc.?
Ensure that the cart is fully stocked with linen, terry, guestroom supplies, and cleaning supplies before beginning.
Strip out all dirty linen and terry from the room.
Make the bed(s)
Clean Under bed
Clean the bathroom
Clean the vanity area
Clean wall mirror
Clean coat rack, luggage rack and in-room safe (if applicable).
Check behind and underneath furniture for debris.
Clean the interior and exterior of the microwave and refrigerator using a fresh set of rags. Ensure the temperature is set to “4”.
Check the operation of the TV including remote control, smoke detector and guestroom telephone. Report any repairs needed.
Finish wiping down furniture and dusting remainder of room.
Clean the window and check curtains for spots and missing hooks.
Clean the heating and air conditioning unit including the filter. Verify the proper heating/cooling settings on the thermostat.'
