Reporting to the General Manager, the Engineering and Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all plant and production equipment.
Principal Accountabilities
- Serve as a member of the Management Committee
- Ensure the safe operation of all equipment and maintain the integrity of facility structures
- Source and procure parts for the repair, modification, or optimization of new and existing equipment
- Develop Capital Expenditure (CapEx) plans for new equipment to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide input on equipment requirements and capabilities for new business initiatives
- Design and implement a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program
- Supervise Korex mechanics, electricians, and external contractors performing installation or repair work
- Prepare and submit documentation to regulatory agencies (e.g., MOE, MOL) as required
- Troubleshoot equipment performance and reliability issues, implementing effective solutions to improve operations
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering designation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment
- Working knowledge of PLC logic
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
- Excellent investigative, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees, customers, and suppliers
- Demonstrated analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proven supervisory and leadership experience
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
