Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through POS systems, and manage tabs for customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Proficient cash handling skills and experience with POS systems.
- Knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and fine dining service standards is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- A background in hospitality or catering is a plus but not required.
