Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team at Red Star Recruiting. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our manufacturing and facility equipment to ensure they operate at peak performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and downtime
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and software
- Operate various types of machinery, including mills, lathes, and welders, to complete repairs and maintain facilities
- Use PMXpert software to process work orders and manage parts for repairs and preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall efficiency
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechanical systems, or HVAC (preferred)
- Minimum of three years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and their interactions
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment such as VOM meters, current clamps, and oscilloscopes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
