Who we are:
Red Stone Equity Partners, a high-quality real estate financial services company, is a fast-growing firm specializing in low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) equity investments and other affordable housing efforts. Red Stone-managed investment funds acquire interests in affordable multifamily housing communities throughout the United States.
Red Stone is searching for talented, ambitious, and self-driven candidates for the Alternative Investments Associate or Analyst position. This position will be situated in a newly established Preservation Housing division of Red Stone to focus on affordable housing financed with non-tax credit equity. The Alternative Investments Associate or Analyst is responsible for researching and presenting various aspects of proposed real estate investments with a focus on market metrics (rents, expenses, sales comps, etc.) and cash flow waterfalls. The Associate or Analyst will also play a critical role in preparing investment materials for external stakeholders.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Research market metrics to determine feasibility of underwritten rents, expenses, cap rates, etc.
- Build and analyze cash flow waterfalls to reflect economic agreement between partners
- Run sensitivity analyses for various underwriting terms
- Assemble presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist asset and fund managers, as needed, in ongoing Preservation investment reporting
- Perform other ad-hoc real estate analyses
What we’re looking for:
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or Real Estate
- Experience in real estate analysis with a few years of experience on either the owner/operator (specifically in acquisitions or capital markets) or brokerage side of the multifamily housing business
- Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Salary $125,000 - $150,000 plus 20-40% bonus range
