Store Manager – Part-Time - Sun/Mon/Tues
Job Description: The Furniture and Home Decor Store Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a furniture and home décor store. This includes providing excellent customer service, maintaining store inventory, managing staff, and ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed. The Store Manager will also be responsible for meeting store sales targets and driving store profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers
- Ensure that store inventory is adequately stocked and accurately tracked
- Manage store staff and lead team meetings
- Monitor store performance and profitability
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet store targets
- Ensure that merchandise displays are attractive and up to date
- Oversee and ensure store operations are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of merchandise
- Maintain store cleanliness and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Monitor and order store supplies when necessary
- Train and coach staff on customer service, merchandising, and product knowledge
- Process payments, refunds, and other transactions
- Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous management, customer service, and sales experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of furniture and home decor products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Compensation: $18-$22 per hour
