We are seeking a motivated Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team and help take Red, Wine & Brew to new heights.
Job Summary
The Front of House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Red, Wine & Brew, providing exceptional service to our guests while managing the front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a proven track record of managing a successful front of house operation. This role requires strong leadership kills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 2 years of management experience in the restaurant industry and bartending experience is a major plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Lead and manage the front-of-house team of servers, hosts and bartenders on a nightly basis.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and address any guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate staff schedules and manage time off requests to ensure optimal shift coverage
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow during peak hours.
- Utilize Toast POS system for order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure timely food and drink delivery, quality service, and seamless operation.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to ensure adequate stock of supplies and beverages.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front of house staff to maintain excellence in service and professionalism to our guests.
- Implement and uphold restaurant policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities to drive customer engagement and sales.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Front of House Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced and high pressure situations with a calm demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of financial management including budgeting and cost control
- Proficiency in restaurant management software including Toast POS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to hire, train and develop team members effectively.
- Experience in bartending is a plus
