What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Red Wing Shoes?
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and 0-2 years related experience/training
- Retail footwear and/or wholesale experience desired but not required
- On the job training is provided, you just need to have a positive attitude, reliable atendance and willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Promote and support the high quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling
- Enter customer information and sales into the POS register, process payments, balance cash drawer and daily reporting
- Measure and fit every customer properly to Red Wing standards
- Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications
- Practice industrial sales lead development on the fitting stool
- Lifting 50 pounds, bending, lacing shoes, and climbing a ladder
- Store maintenance duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping & waxing floors, washing windows and setting up and maintaining displays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
