Database Developer (On-site, NY Tri-State Area)

Redan LLC is looking for a Database Developer to be part of a growing team.

The Database Developer will support full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment/work engagement services, and claims systems with established standards, ensuring all solutions align with the agency's mission and objectives.

Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be adaptive to the changing needs of the organization. This candidate must have experience with building and maintaining highly effective relationships with team members and multiple stakeholders across multiple projects.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Database Developer at Redan, you will:

• Develop Database documentation
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of database designs, configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across various systems.
• Perform Database Development
• Develop and maintain complex database systems ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
• Design scalable and efficient database schemas based on application requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain SSIS Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in MS SQL Server.
• Assist other developers in the team with database issues.
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Lead and manage database development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to requirements.

Profile of Success

Required:

• Minimum 4 Years experience with Development and Maintenance of SSIS Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in MS SQL Server.
• Minimum 4 Years experience with Performance Tuning including tuning/optimizing SQL, T-SQL code.
• Minimum 4 Years experience Database design and data migration.
• Minimum 4 Years experience with technical and user documentation, database dictionary.

Conditions of Employment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
