Responsibilities
- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
- Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset.
- Be a reflection of Jesus in all you do and say.
- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments
- Support daily Ark/Museum operations. This includes but is not limited to: exhibit AV, event audio, video and lighting, conference room AV support.
- Live Audio, IMAG Switching, Lighting Operation and programing.
- Ensure equipment maintenance is performed properly and timely.
- Works closely with the AV Manager for purchasing daily consumables.
- And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Requirements
- Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Regular attendance at a local Bible-believing church.
- A flexible schedule is a must as the AV Technician need to be available for before and after normal hours AV support
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to climb ladders
- Must be a self-starter and be able to see jobs through to completion
- Must have a servant’s heart
- Education & Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of facility Audio/Visual installation & maintenance experience a plus
- A Minimum of 2 years of live sound and lighting support a plus
- Touring/Concert Audio and lighting experience a plus
- Experience with Alcorn McBride, Crestron, and Christie Digital Projectors preferred
- Experience with Q-sys and Dante Digital Audio a plus
- Experience with ETC EOS Lighting control
- Experience with Green-Hippo media servers and ProPresenter a plus
- Experience with Yamaha audio consoles and Shure wireless systems a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Some experience with servers and networking is a plus
- Any formal AV related training or degree is a benefit
