Job Summary
The Bahnsen Group (TBG) is looking for a Tax Associate to join their Tax Department in their Phoenix, AZ office. The role is a full-time, in-office position. The Tax Associate will work with experienced CPAs and have ample opportunity to grow into a Senior Associate within the Tax Department.
Responsibilities
- Collect data from clients for tax projections and tax preparation purposes
- Submit tax filings and file extensions by deadlines
- Perform data entry & analysis for tax returns and tax projections
- Independently complete less complex tax returns with approval from Senior Tax Consultants
- Collaborate with Senior Tax Consultants to facilitate data entry and identify opportunities on intricate individual and business tax returns
- Research federal and state income tax issues and prepare written responses to client questions with support from Senior Tax Consultants
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, tax, accounting, or economics
- 1-4 years of tax season experience in an established accounting firm
- Experience with tax preparation software
- Detail oriented
- Strong work ethic
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
