The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in advanced estate planning, tax planning, and wealth preservation for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and families.
Responsibilities
- Draft estate plans for individuals and families with substantial wealth.
- Provide guidance on tax and wealth transfer matters.
- Advise fiduciaries and beneficiaries on estate administration and trusts.
- Review and analyze estate and gift tax filings.
- Develop and implement advanced estate and tax planning strategies.
- Cultivate strong client relationships.
- J.D. Degree and admission to the South Carolina Bar (or willingness to apply).
- LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning.
- Certified Specialist in Tax or Estate Planning (or eligibility for certification).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, tax, and business succession.
- Proven track record working with clients of substantial wealth and complex estate matters.
- Strong ethical standards and ability to manage client relationships and collaborate effectively with legal staff.
