Job Summary
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients visiting or contacting the veterinary clinic. Your role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. Work 4 days per week. No on call hours or weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly and assist with check-in procedures
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Process payments
- Maintain accurate client records and update patient information in the system
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal restraint when necessary
- Utilize knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and care to communicate effectively with clients
Requirements
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and understanding of animal care practices
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for maintaining cleanliness in a medical setting
- Ability to handle animal restraint with care and compassion
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
