Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to address maintenance issues and renovations. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our residences.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and identify areas in need of repair or maintenance
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs
- Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role
- Proficient in various maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients
Please note that this is a contract position. Weekly pay is disbursed every Thursday and vendors will receive a 1099 at year end. The schedule is flexible enough to work around other jobs.
