POSITION PURPOSE
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by managing master data and overseeing monthly inventory counts. This role ensures that inventory data is consistently updated, accurate, and aligned with company policies. The Inventory Coordinator works closely with various departments to reconcile discrepancies, optimize inventory tracking processes, and support overall inventory accuracy.

Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mater Data Maintenance including Item Masters, Procurement Categories, Bills of Material (BOM), Standard Cost Maintenance, and Product Sales Categories.
- Monitors timely submission of production and physical inventory counts by field personnel.
- Process in-house transfers to remote warehouses within business units. Reconciles facility spreadsheets and transfer activity.
- Centrally monitors and reports on daily inventory variances for each Reddy Ice facility.
- Distribute daily inventory variance reports to the operations support teams as needed.
- Assists facilities with inventory reconciliations as needed.
- Conducts periodic review and analysis of finished goods and raw material inventories, including related purchasing activities.
- Reviews and reconciles month end inventories.
- Identifies opportunities to improve inventory control by analyzing reports, seasonal variations, and other data.
- Acts with a sense of urgency.

No travel is required for this position. This position may require overtime since weekend and evening work may be required. Typical office environment, generally sedentary position using computers, calculators, phones, and other office equipment. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships and reason through complex business situations is essential.
