SUMMARY OF JOB
The Director of Social Services leads and manages the Social Services departments responsible for coordinating services for long–term care and short stays. This position ensures services are provided and met for 296 residents and patients in the Skilled Nursing Facility in the areas of Long-Term Care, Dementia Care, and Short Stay units while adhering to Holy Redeemer Policies & Procedures and Mission & Values expectations. The Director participates in administrative leadership for the facility, including administrator on-call responsibilities, develops and collaborates with colleagues on ways to supports residents’ homes, and serves as the Grievance Official for the campus.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
- BSW or BA in sociology/social work ore related human services field
- Minimum six years’ experience in a long-term care setting, one year in short stay/rehab setting, and one year supervisory/management experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of community resources
- Proven knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team
