A Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients under orders from a referring physician through various therapeutic procedures, aiming to restore function, relieve pain, and improve movement and function. This is achieved by working according to their State Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient needs and develop comprehensive plans of care
- Provide physical therapy services in a home care setting
- Work collaboratively with an integrated healthcare team
- Travel to patient locations within the service area
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-approved college of physical therapy
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certified in CPR and able to use office equipment
- Valid driver's license and current state license required
