What You Can Expect Working in the Regional Operations Technician Position
A Regional Operations Technician is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the operational efficiency of multiple sites within the designated region. Ensuring the proper functioning of systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, coordinating with local site technicians or vendors, and implementing standard operating procedures across all sites. The Regional Operations Technician will work with external vendors while also maintaining communication with internal departments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assesses the condition of the box to determine type of repair needed and repairs and services the unit, as required.
- Performs preventive maintenance of assets and equipment at customer or company sites.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, across multiple sites.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in any of the facilities within the region.
- Ensure the physical infrastructure of all sites meets safety and operational standards.
- Examines products or work to verify conformance to specifications and ensure quality of products or work.
- Follows established safety and security rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean working environment.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of construction-related experience
- HVAC Certified EPA608
- Ability to read a tape measure and practice basic arithmetic.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and provide consistent work.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to obtain forklift or heavy equipment certification.
Preferred Qualifications
· 5 years of experience in construction, including skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.
