Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) has been providing care as an independent, community hospital in Skowhegan, Maine since 1952. Today, RFGH is a 25-bed critical access facility that provides health care for more than 30,000 residents living in Somerset County, which extends from Skowhegan to the Canadian border. The general utility worker is responsible for the cleanliness of the dishes, dish room, storeroom, and walk-in refrigerator/freezer. This person puts away all stock coming into storeroom, all walk-in refrigerators, walk-in freezers and chemical room, using the first in, first out system, keeping Supervisor informed of outages and damaged stock. Individual also performs other cleaning tasks as required by Supervisor.
Status: Per diem
Qualities: Flexibility and a great attitude required
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in food service or cafeteria operation is very desirable.
