Job Description
The Client Services Coordinator performs a variety of tasks and assists with projects that support RedLand Strategies’ commitment to excellence in consulting for our clients. Our services include government relations, business development and crisis and emergency planning.
Job responsibilities include
- Prepare written research on RedLand clients, current events and a variety of public policy issues that could impact our clients.
- Prepare case studies, white papers, executive biographies, press releases, media relations content, and assist in the development of public speaking materials.
- Communicate with RedLand clients to assist with the delivery of contract objectives or client events and/or projects; ensure that client needs are met as projects evolve.
- Report and escalate to RedLand team and management, as needed, on all client matters
- Develop and manage relevant and original social media content to reach company’s target audience.
- Monitor social media progress using web analytic tools, and answer directly to social media inquiries, all while using the company's business posture and guidelines
- Prepare for meetings, including booking conference rooms, setting up projector or video equipment and taking relevant notes to disseminate to team afterwards.
- Attend client meetings with senior executives and prepare meeting notes and action items to be distributed to team as a follow up.
- Develop and maintain Request For Proposal tracking system for those clients RedLand is registered to lobby for in both New York State and New York City.
- Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and in a timely manner.
- Support executive team with various administrative duties including disseminating information, redirecting calls and attending staff meetings and client meetings, where needed, on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Degrees and coursework in the following disciplines are encouraged: political science, English, history, criminal justice, security studies, business, finance, management, public policy or public administration.
- Candidate must be willing to provide school transcripts, writing sample or sample work product, upon request.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail, ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.
