What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook II position at Redlands Community Hospital - DIETARY?
Reporting to
the Food and Nutrition Services Director, this position is expected to perform
a variety of food service related duties according to all the standards,
policies and procedures applicable to Redlands Community Hospital. This
position is responsible for all food preparation and preparation of meals for
patient services, cafeteria and catering. All foods produced must be
prepared according to a recipe or procedure. Provides the highest quality of
service to customers and patients at all times. Limited supervision and
instruction needed on routine work and general instructions for new lines of
work or special assignments. Assist in orienting and training of lower level
cooks. This position is responsible for all catered events including
preparation of cold items, set-up, delivery, and serving of food.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of food production experience, required.
- Catering experience preferred.
- Experience in food preparation needed.
- Food Handler’s card issued by San Bernardino County required.
