What are the responsibilities and job description for the LVN - Transitional Care Unit position at Redlands Community Hospital?
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Licensed Vocational Nurse is a care giver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provides care to patients via therapeutic use of self .

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
- One year of experience as an LVN in a clinical setting preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license required.
- Current CPR certificate required.
- IV Certification as evidenced on Primary Source Verification of LVN License (Certified in intravenous therapy and blood withdrawal required for LVNs working in Home Health, Hospice, Ambulatory Surgery, or the Transitional Care Unit).
- Elder Abuse training required within 60 days of hire.
