Retail Frozen Food Manager Position
The ideal candidate will be able to read and write to properly tag merchandise, order, and maintain inventory levels. They must also be able to follow written and verbal instructions, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds thirty percent (30%) of the time.
Job Description:
To maintain and operate all aspects of the Frozen Food Department, ensuring optimal product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Verify all deliveries against invoices, noting any shortages or overages and reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
- Price Adjustments: Responsible for price changes within the department.
- Inventory Levels: Maintain an acceptable inventory level by using proper ordering techniques.
- Product Rotation: Properly rotate products to control freshness and remove out-of-code items.
- Price Discounts: Maintenance of temporary price reduction of certain products.
- Temperature Issues: Communicate temperature failure of cases, shelves, and storage areas to the manager in charge.
- Damaged Goods: Control damaged merchandise by calling in any damages and properly storing damages for sales representatives.
- Customer Interactions: Maintain good customer relations.
- Store Standards: Greet all customers to our store and be observant while working.
- Company Regulations: Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Product Transportation: Transport products to storage areas and to sales floor.
- Shelf Organization: Maintain shelves and cases to ensure customer satisfaction.
