Frozen Food Department Operations Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to oversee the daily operations of our frozen food department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal product quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Oversight: Verify all deliveries against invoices, noting any shortages or overages and reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
- Price Modifications: Responsible for price changes within the department.
- Inventory Optimization: Maintain an acceptable inventory level by using proper ordering techniques.
- Product Rotation Strategy: Properly rotate products to control freshness and remove out-of-code items.
- Price Promotions Management: Maintenance of temporary price reduction of certain products.
- Temperature Control Monitoring: Communicate temperature failure of cases, shelves, and storage areas to the manager in charge.
- Damage Control Process: Control damaged merchandise by calling in any damages and properly storing damages for sales representatives.
- Customer Relationship Building: Maintain good customer relations.
- Store Standard Practices: Greet all customers to our store and be observant while working.
- Company Policy Adherence: Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
