We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our second shift team at Red's. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines for our second shift.
As the Second Shift Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities to ensure efficient factory operations during night hours.

Requirements:
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning
- Conducts field work to identify and document job requirements.
- Makes safety Job #1, including lock-out/tag-out procedures available to employees.
- Plans jobs with appropriate level of detail for the given skills
- Writes clear and concise work procedures
- Determines and arranges for parts required to perform the work.
- Prints and delivers work orders to the assigned maintenance technician in conjunction with the weekly work schedule.
- Upon completion of jobs, communicates with maintenance technicians regarding ideas and procedures that would make future jobs more efficient
- Responsible for equipment and repair parts data entry.
- Ensures all work orders and maintenance log items are closed when work is finished.
- Participates in outage planning activities such as scope identification and control, scheduling, coordination, risk assessment, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Ensures that all the details of the work order are clearly communicated and understood.
- Motivate employees for maximum performance.
- Identifies specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed work
- Works from equipment manuals, parts listings, engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams and verbal instructions for parts and materials acquisitions.

Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
- proven experience as maintenance tech/leader or related field managerial role
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage
- Inventory, order, financial systems
- Order processing concepts and techniques
- Food manufacturing
- Work in CMMS programs
- Identify preventative maintenance problems or anomalies and identify appropriate solutions
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with employees verbally and in writing
