Job Summary
The Product Manager, Data & Analytics will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of data products across multiple pharmacy management systems and intra-company data solutions. In this role, you will drive the development and optimization of innovative data solutions that empower healthcare and pharmacy operations, ensuring data accessibility, quality, and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a background managing technology or SaaS products, a strong analytical skillset, and experience working with data and data-driven products. Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmacy industry is highly desirable.
Key Duties
- Product Strategy and Vision
Develop and articulate a comprehensive product strategy for data products, aligning with company goals and customer needs.
Identify market trends, customer pain points, and opportunities to create innovative solutions for the pharmacy and healthcare sectors.Define product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and technology strategy.Execution and DeliveryManage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and release.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, UX, and operations, to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.Prioritize features and initiatives using data-driven insights and stakeholder input.Data Product DevelopmentLead the design and enhancement of data products, including analytics platforms, data lakes, and dashboards, ensuring scalability and usability.
Work closely with engineering and data teams to define data models, integrations, and performance metrics.Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and best practices in data security.Stakeholder EngagementAct as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, including pharmacy operations, IT, and executive leadership, to gather requirements and provide updates.
Develop strong relationships with external partners and customers to understand their needs and feedback.Analytics and Performance MonitoringDefine and track key product metrics to measure success and inform decision-making.Analyze product performance and user behavior to drive continuous improvement and innovation.Education / Training
Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related discipline)Additional training or certification in product management or six sigma a plus.Required Work Experience / Skills
3- 5 years of practical experience in the field the product is utilized in, either through direct work in the field or working on supporting the product.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Work Experience / Skills
Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive data-driven decisions.Knowledge of data architecture, integration and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, PowerBI, Metabase, etc.)Understanding of data governance, compliance, and privacy standards in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA).Advanced understanding of Office suite products for documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.Intermediate knowledge of road mapping tools.Discretionary Judgment
