Responsibilities of the Accountant:

• Administer and manage daily accounting functions while supporting the Finance Director and management.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial goals, budgets, accounting procedures, purchasing systems, and payroll processes.
• Prepare and complete bank reconciliations.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and statements.
• Support the Director of Finance with supervisory tasks, including interviewing, hiring, planning, and training employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of the Accountant:

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
• 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
• Deadline-driven with a detail-oriented mindset.
