Our well-established client is currently seeking Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their growing team. This position is located near Saratoga Springs, NY. Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Associate will include : -Verify and maintain records of incoming shipments and prepare items for stock or use.-Process paperwork to ensure accurate material counts and documentation.-Handle inventory records, product movement, packaging, and shipment of merchandise.-Determine shipping methods based on supervisor instructions.-Operate hand trucks, forklifts, and other equipment for loading / unloading and material transport.-Inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies and record received items in the system.-Pick, pack, and label outgoing shipments per shipping requirements.-Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.-Organize and maintain warehouse spaces for efficiency and accessibility.-Inspect incoming / outgoing goods for quality and compliance with specifications.-Adhere to safety procedures, company policies, and standard operating procedures.-Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Associate : -High School Diploma or GED equivalent.-Must be 18 years or older.-Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs intermittently.-Experience in manufacturing or production environments.-Proficiency in following work instructions.-Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.-Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $17 - $19 / hr.
