Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer will include : -Act as a trusted technology advisor for both prospective and existing customers, fostering long-term relationships.-Analyze customer requirements, recommend solutions, and clearly communicate their value propositions.-Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more of the following areas : network solutions, storage, servers, security, and Cloud technologies.-Support the sales process within an assigned territory by responding to RFPs, creating cost-effective designs, and developing bills of materials.-Collaborate with implementation teams, providing technical knowledge transfer and training as needed.-Stay informed about the company's products and services, as well as emerging technologies in the market.-Deliver impactful presentations tailored to audiences ranging from technical staff to senior management.Qualifications of the Sales Engineer : -BA in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Information Security preferred. Candidates with an AS degree and relevant technology certifications (networking, storage, security, or virtualization) will also be considered.-Strong organizational and time-management abilities.-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.-Demonstrated ability to adhere to company standards and processes.-Knowledge and hands-on experience with technologies related to networks, servers, storage, security, and Cloud solutions. Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $130,000 - $170,000, DOE.
