Wage: (negotiable) $15-17/hour with annual reviews and raises. (Tips per paycheck add $1-4/ hour)

Hours:
AM SHIFT 6AM-2PM
PM SHIFT 12PM-8PM or 2PM-8:30PM
SHIFT AVAILABILITY BOTH WEEK DAYS AND WEEKENDS
Requirements and Job Description
Must be able to work 20-40 hours per week depending on your schedule. Job is extremely rewarding but labor intensive, loud, and preformed both inside and outside regardless of weather conditions. This position is perfect for someone who would like to start a career in the field of animal care or looking to attend pre- vet school, etc. Must be at least 18 and able to lift 50 pounds to apply.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:
- Walking through the kennel areas checking each animal individually for any abnormal activity such as vomiting, diarrhea, or blood in the cage or run. Reports all abnormal activity to supervisors and makes a note in the computer so the animal can be examined.
- Supervising dog playgroups
- Checking In and Out clients from their boarding stays using our software
- Booking Reservations
- Answering phones and emails
- Preforming bathing services including nail trims
- Filling out accurate reports for each animal boarding.
- Feeding animals according to schedules.
- Cleaning cages, runs and yards.
- Cleaning cat litter boxes.
- Washing dishes
- Picking up soiled laundry as well as running multiple loads of laundry
- Administering medications to those animals that require medications and preforming minor treatments for hospitalized pets as needed.
- Walking dogs.
- Maintaining cleanliness of entire kennel facility
- Janitorial work including cleaning bathrooms, floors, and work spaces as needed.
Salary : $15 - $17
