Key Responsibilities
- Greets members, assesses their needs, and takes initiative to develop solutions for member satisfaction.
- Provides information and promotes products and services that meet member needs.
- Promotes the in-school branch to students through promotions and relationship building to encourage membership growth.
- Performs in-school branch duties such as assisting with opening and closing procedures, practicing branch safety, and general branch operation duties.
- Documents and processes member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other services.
- Works cooperatively in a team environment and maintains a balance between individual and team responsibilities.
- Maintains a professional image and demeanor at all times, consistently demonstrating Credit Union values and adhering to the Code of Ethics.
- Delivers friendly, caring service to internal and external members.
- Complies with applicable State, Federal, and NCUA rules and regulations and all Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Finds and reports any security or confidentiality issues involving member information.
- Completes required regulatory and compliance training and maintains knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
- Works scheduled hours and maintains punctuality.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Apart from being knowledgeable about Credit Union products and services, candidates should be able to apply customer service practices effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
