Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides technical guidance and mentoring to Digital Channels Specialists and Digital Banking Specialists. Serves as technical subject matter expert on certificates, server application upgrades, integrations, networking and data diagrams.
- Responsible for administration, configuration, security compliance and technical support for 60 servers and their associated applications, systems, network and integrations.
- Responsible for the performance of the assigned databases as well as troubleshooting any issues.
- Monitors digital platform performance, implements changes and applies new patches and upgrades when required.
- Monitors performance, including utilization and availability; ensures optimal system speed, reliability and performance.
- Reviews all reported vulnerabilities and ensures proper mitigation actions are taken.
- Addresses technical issues related to digital platforms and escalates as needed.
- Leads Digital Channels Experience projects and initiatives to ensure minimal downtown occurs with all patches, upgrades, and system changes.
- Leads team to integrate tools with other IT systems and attends meetings to understand requirements, change requests, and defect reports. Provides guidelines, recommendations, and resolutions.
- Advises Digital Channel Specialists and Digital Banking Specialists on diagnosing and resolving issues that affect system performance and accessibility to all Digital Channels Experience services.
- Advises Digital Channel Specialists and Digital Banking Specialists on scheduling system upgrades to ensure maximum availability of system updates and to ensure no conflicts occur.
- Responsible for planning, designing and implementing procedures for critical Digital Channels Experience systems.
- Leads research efforts to identify new solutions and communicates progress with management.
- Provides formal recommendations on system optimizations and performs root cause analysis.
- Ensures stability and maintenance of a 24/7 critical production and DR (Disaster Recovery) environment.
- Assists management in developing, maintaining and implementing a formal BC (Business Continuity) plan.
- Serves as a system administrator to install, maintain, and apply upgrades/updates to the application manager automation databases and application.
- Guides specialists Digital Channel Specialists and Digital Banking Specialists in configuring systems and setups to meet applications and servicing needs.
- Creates and maintains documentation related to the setup, configuration, installation, administration, and upkeep of multiple windows and Linux systems.
- Draft test plans and conducts product evaluations.
- Maintains a professional image and demeanor at all times, consistently demonstrating Credit Union RISE Values and adhering to the Code of Ethics.
- Delivers friendly, caring service to internal and external members.
- Complies with all applicable State, Federal and NCUA rules and regulations and all Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Follow all physical and online security procedures and maintain strict confidentiality of all member information.
- Completes all required regulatory and compliance training and maintains required knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
- Works scheduled hours and maintains punctuality.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education Requirements
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field - Required
- 4 Years in Computer and data center operations support experience, preferably in an environment similar in size, scope, and complexity to that of the Credit Union - Required
- 2 Years Experience with Windows server and Linux operating systems - Required
- 1 Year Experience with SQL scripting and Oracle and SQL databases - Required
- Practices, methods and terminology applicable to monitoring and operation of data center hardware and software including standard scheduling, backup and control processes.
- Applicable hardware and software characteristics, operating environments, commands and structures as they apply to assigned responsibilities.
- Methods and techniques of troubleshooting to determine causes of computer hardware and software problems and device errors and failures.
- Uses a variety of scripting languages to meet automation needs.
- Effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards and achieve member satisfaction.
- Learn and apply information, on a wide range of Credit Union products, services and regulatory compliance requirements, in order to assess member situations and develop solutions.
- Resolve problems utilizing advanced knowledge and experience.
