We have 9 event venues, as well as 10 restaurants that offer some of the largest outdoor dining spaces in West Michigan, 8 golf courses, and 5 pools with cafes and bars, so there are a variety of jobs to fit your interests! We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Events Manager to join our Thornapple Point Golf Club team!

The Event Manager will be responsible for the general operation of staff functions relating to the banquet facility. This person works closely with the Event Sales Manager, General Manager, Assistant General Manager, FOH Managers, and Executive Chef for the planning and execution of each event. The Event Manager will supervise and train all banquet staff to ensure a high standard of appearance and hospitality. This manager has guest first mentality and makes each event the number one priority. The Event Manager must have a flexible work schedule consisting of an average of 50–55 hours per week. The schedule consists of days, nights, weekends, and some holidays and will vary on a weekly basis based on business volume and event schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 year of experience. They will need to be detail oriented and great at multitasking as they will be responsible for managing restaurant and banquet operations. Candidate must have a strong work ethic with core values and the flexibility to work nights and weekends. Teamwork mentality and positive attitude is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
