Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Web/UX Design Intern in their Junior or Senior year. The student filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties related to advancement, support, and maintenance of Redwood Credit Union’s digital assets, including the public website, online banking, and the mobile app.

Position Responsibilities:

• Web design and development work using HTML, CSS, Figma, and Adobe Suite, including enhancements and bug fixes to support and maintain public website
• Incident investigation and resolution
• SEO work, including use of Google Analytics and Tag Manager to track traffic
• General Quality Assurance tasks
• Task management through work organization tool (Jira)
• Participate in meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
• Foster positive relationships with other Redwood Credit Union employees
  
  
  

Position Details

• This position is for a full-time, seasonal internship – 40 hours per week
• This internship will begin on, June 9, 2025, and end on August 15, 2025 (end date can be modified based on fall college schedule)
• Ability to provide a recent transcript will be required during the interview process
• This position is not eligible for benefits other than what’s required by law
  
  
  

Compensation

$22/hourly

Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Working knowledge of UX and UI principles such as usability, visual/architectural hierarchy, consistency, accessibility, simplicity, and clarity
• Desire experience using Confluence and Sharepoint
• Strong quantitative and analytic skills
• Strong service orientation
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  
  
  

In addition, the following skills would be desirable:

• Familiarity with Javascript frameworks (Angular, React, Backbone, Node.JS, etc)
• Understanding of the purpose and use of APIs
• Must be a Junior or Senior with a minimum of 3.0 GPA

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn

• Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk
