The student filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties related to advancement, support, and maintenance of Redwood Credit Union’s digital assets, including the public website, online banking, and the mobile app.

Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Web/UX Design Intern in their Junior or Senior year. The student filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties related to advancement, support, and maintenance of Redwood Credit Union’s digital assets, including the public website, online banking, and the mobile app.
Position Responsibilities:
- Web design and development work using HTML, CSS, Figma, and Adobe Suite, including enhancements and bug fixes to support and maintain public website
- Incident investigation and resolution
- SEO work, including use of Google Analytics and Tag Manager to track traffic
- General Quality Assurance tasks
- Task management through work organization tool (Jira)
- Participate in meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
- Foster positive relationships with other Redwood Credit Union employees
- This position is for a full-time, seasonal internship – 40 hours per week
- This internship will begin on, June 9, 2025, and end on August 15, 2025 (end date can be modified based on fall college schedule)
- Ability to provide a recent transcript will be required during the interview process
- This position is not eligible for benefits other than what’s required by law

Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS/Javascript
- Working knowledge of UX and UI principles such as usability, visual/architectural hierarchy, consistency, accessibility, simplicity, and clarity
- Desire experience using Confluence and Sharepoint
- Strong quantitative and analytic skills
- Strong service orientation
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Javascript frameworks (Angular, React, Backbone, Node.JS, etc)
- Understanding of the purpose and use of APIs
- Must be a Junior or Senior with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
