Redwood Credit Union is looking for an Accounting Intern in their Junior or Senior year. The student filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties related to the Accounts Payable process, General Ledger Reconciliations, and Month End close procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
• Enter and code Accounts Payable invoices
• Obtain proper and appropriate approval for Accounts Payable invoices
• Assist in the Month End close procedures as assigned
• Support monthly General Ledger reconciliation process
• Support Bi-Weekly payroll process
• Support preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Foster positive relationships with other Redwood Credit Union employees
Position Details
• This position is for a full-time, seasonal internship – 40 hours per week.
• This internship will begin on, June 9, 2025, and end on August 15, 2025 (end date can be modified based on fall college schedule).
• Ability to provide a recent transcript will be required during the interview process.
• This position is not eligible for benefits other than what’s required by law.
Compensation
$22/hourly
\n- Basic knowledge of general accounting practices and principles.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
- Strong service orientation.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Must be a Junior or Senior with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
