Redwood Credit Union is looking for an Employee Relations Intern in their Junior or Senior year.  The student filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties related to new employee onboarding, the overall employee experience, training, corporate wellness, and administrative duties. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide support to recruitment efforts including career fairs

• Provide administrative support for HRIS and other record-keeping systems

• Assist with employee benefits administration

• Assist with promotion and administration of the corporate wellness program

• Support all programs to enhance the overall employee experience

• Prepare materials and support the onboarding process for new employees

• Complete physical and electronic file maintenance 

• Assist with planning and running employee events

• Provide support for both online and classroom-based training programs

• Foster positive relationships with other Redwood Credit Union employees

Position Details

• This position is for a full-time, seasonal internship – 40 hours per week.

• This internship will begin on, June 9, 2025, and end on August 15, 2025 (end date can be modified based on fall college schedule).

• Ability to provide a recent transcript will be required during the interview process.

• This position is not eligible for benefits other than what’s required by law.

Compensation

$22/hourly

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
• Strong service orientation.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment. 
• Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Must be a Junior or Senior with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
