The Redwood Family Care Network Careers seeks a compassionate and dedicated Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with bathroom needs and provide personal hygiene support.
- Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
- Redirect behaviors with various activities including, walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects.
- Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients as written in Individual Program Plan.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- CPI training.
- Minimum 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses with challenging behaviors.
