Material Planner
The Material Planner manages inbound raw material supply in support of Redwood production. This role will involve the daily management of suppliers and inbound supply. This individual must understand manufacturing processes and supply chain strategies.

Material Planner
The Material Planner manages inbound raw material supply in support of Redwood production. This role will involve the daily management of suppliers and inbound supply. This individual must understand manufacturing processes and supply chain strategies.
Responsibilities will include:
- Generate MRP and communicate raw material requirements to suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Serve as the primary contact with suppliers to communicate incoming delivery status, risks/issues, and resolution
- Track production plan and actual volume vs raw material usage to ensure proper supply plans
- Provide dynamic clear to build updates to support Redwood production
- Escalate risks proactively, drive resolution with procurement, supplier quality, and supplier leadership
- Perform analytics/KPIs to include forward-looking inventory forecasts, days on hand, space planning, and E&O risk.
- Partner with key stakeholders to maintain an accurate BOM, monitoring expected vs actual usages.
- Bachelor's Degree required, with specialization in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations management preferred.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM/APICS) preferred.
- Proven experience planning in supply chain or with suppliers
- Strong analytical skills and experience using quantitative tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL).
