Our Costumer Service Associates are the face of our company. They are the first to greet customers as they walk through the door and the the last to offer a friendly good bye. The shopping experience our customers have while visiting our stores is a combination of product presentation & availability, store cleanliness and friendly staff ready to greet them & provide quality service.
You will also be responsible for processing transactions on a POS register, maintaining a clean store both inside and out, and ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented in an organized fashion. Some locations offer propane, so there will be times you will need to assist a customer with that need.

● Willingness to take direction from your Supervisor and work as a team with your co-workers
Benefits
Full time employees working at least 30 or more hours per week will be eligible (after a waiting period) for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Vacation will begin to accrue after 6 months of employment for full time employees.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
The physical demands described here must be must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.
● Physical Demands: constant standing, ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds, frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continued use of fingers, arms, and hands.
● Working Conditions: Indoor and outdoor environment in both hot and cold weather, possibly around chemicals and fuel/fuel fumes. Associates are required to assist in stocking the cooler.

About Us
Redwood Oil Co. was founded by Peter Van Alyea with his purchase of a single gas station in the early 1970's in Marin County. Since then we have grown to 24 retail gas and convenience store locations, 16 of which are home to our Aztec Grills where fresh food items are prepared daily by our grill staff. Redwood Market and Aztec Grill are brands of Redwood Oil, which you will see on the face of our stores and on the labels of our in-house prepared food products.
