Director of People - Strategy: Compensation | Organizational
Reports to the Chief Financial Officer or Chief Executive Officer
The Director of People is an integral role at this innovative technology firm. With over 100 team members and growing, this firm is a leading fixed wireless service provider with operations in California, Nevada, and Arizona. The core business includes residential, commercial, and government customers.
In addition, the company is the Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS) spectrum owner across 44 States. The spectrum business is under development, and the expectation is transformational growth.
The Director of People must bring visible leadership to the organizational strategy, functional partnerships, performance management, succession planning, and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with leadership to foster an engaged and motivated workforce.
Lead the organizational strategy, with the ability to align capability with growth initiatives and operations.
Design and implement a talent strategy, working across functions to understand the skillsets needed.
Performance management design and implementation.
Build and execute succession (development, training, preparation) plans.
Structure Compensation, Benefits, and Reward programs.
Create a customer-centric culture (internal/external).
Bring a confidential and mature mindset to all people-related matters.
Provide career counsel and guidance as needed to those on a development path.
Attributes:
- Desire and ability to embrace the organization, with a keen understanding of individual and team performance behaviors.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Presentation acumen, including with the board and senior executives.
- Highest ethical standards.
- Knowledge of Human Resource processes and standards that are legally and operationally effective.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years in Human Resource leadership.
- Proven understanding and experience in building functional business partnerships.
- Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree preferred.
- Experience working within a Private Equity-backed environment.
- On-site role in Camarillo, CA (Los Angeles, CA area).

Salary:
$120,000-$125,000 plus performance structure.
