We are seeking a detail-oriented, communicative, and proactive Project Coordinator to support key initiatives in the Seattle region.
Position Summary
The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in coordinating community engagement activities, supporting an intern program, and building relationships with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and the business community. This role requires an individual who thrives in a remote environment, can independently manage time and tasks, and consistently delivers high-quality, error-free work.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate outreach and engagement efforts with CBOs and local businesses
- Identify and recruit subject matter experts and business leaders to support program initiatives
- Support the design and implementation of an intern program, including onboarding, communications, and reporting
- Create and manage Google Suite-based tools including surveys, dashboards, spreadsheets, and reports
- Draft, edit, and proofread high-quality written materials and presentations with impeccable grammar and accuracy
- Assist in the development of project timelines, action plans, and deliverables
- Participate in virtual meetings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain organized project documentation and provide regular updates to the team
- Coordinate project activities and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating community engagement or outreach projects
- Familiarity with the Seattle community and local CBOs
- Demonstrated experience working independently in a remote or hybrid professional setting
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, and Drive)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — grammar, spelling, and clarity must be flawless
- Proven attention to detail and ability to self-edit work for accuracy and quality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time management and follow-through | Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new platforms or tools
- Passion for inclusive community-building and public-facing programs
- Proven experience in project coordination or management roles.
- Strong understanding of project portfolio management principles.
- Effective negotiation skills for working with various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting or managing internship or youth development programs
- Experience in coordinating for business mentor protege programs
- Background in consulting, public agency, or nonprofit sectors
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies is a plus.
- Experience in change management processes is highly desirable.
