Position Summary (3 Month Contract w/ Potential to Convert to Full-Time)
We are seeking an Asset Management Associate (Contract Role) for a 3 month contract with the potential to convert to a full-time position. This role will assist the Loan Administration Associate with reporting, follow up calls, and data entry for loans from the early stages of delinquency, loan workout through the liquidation process. The Associate will have the opportunity to interact directly with Senior Management, as well as our customers. This role is located in Irvine, California and is generally working between 20-40 hours per week.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Include the following but not limited to, other duties may be assigned.
• Conduct calls on early-stage delinquency and loans maturing in 60-90 days and work with Associate to develop strategy
• Assist asset managers with general servicing matters including payoffs, financial reporting, valuation ordering, post-closing items, and borrower requests
• Provide exceptional customer service through verbal and written communication
• Support in the development and growth of borrower relationships
• Assist with reviewing, documenting, and processing invoicing
• Provide a set of reporting to Servicer, Associate, and VP of Asset Management
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks
• Collaborative, team-oriented individual with strong sense of integrity and professionalism
• Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned
Minimum Requirements: The responsibilities listed below are required. Accommodations may be made to enable the individual with disabilities to ensure the individual can perform the essential functions and responsibilities.
• High School Diploma is required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in real estate, finance or a related field
• Excellent Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
• SalesForce experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Significant attention to detail
