We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Surveillance Asset Manager, onsite position located in Irvine, CA. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality work, providing an engaging and fulfilling environment for our employees, while managing significant and profitable growth.
The Mortgage Asset Manager is responsible to manage the assigned portfolio of mortgage loans to meet the goals and objective outlined by the investor.
The management of the portfolio requires the Mortgage Asset Manager to regularly conduct loan level reviews and manage the standard operating activities generated when timelines are missed. The loan level reviews provide a detailed summary of the loan status including a recommended strategy and estimated timeline for resolutions.
If through the loan level review a potential stall or issue is identified the Mortgage Asset Manager is responsible to work with the appropriate parties to resolve the matter or escalate if there is greater issue which can affect the overall portfolio.
All mitigation workout strategies from Modifications to Foreclosure Bids are underwritten by the Mortgage Asset Manager.
Due to there being an extensive review of the loans the RMS Asset Management does require an extensive knowledge of mortgage servicing including, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy and Foreclosure with a strong understanding of contested and litigated foreclosures.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:
· High school diploma or equivalent work experience
· Bachelors’ Degree strongly preferred
· Five (5) years of default mortgage experience
· Knowledge of FiServ/MortgageServ, Black Knight|LoanSphere and/or TEMPO
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business requirements
· Commitment to deliver the best client outcome
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Identify trends or breach of investor guidelines and report incidents to management and/or investor.
· Strong knowledge of subprime mortgage loans
Strong written and communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
