Window & Door Permit Coordinator – Full-Time

We’re a leading window, door, and roofing company based in beautiful St. Petersburg, FL, and we’re looking for a Permit Coordinator who can keep our projects on track and fully compliant from start to finish. What You’ll Be Doing:
Take ownership of the permitting process for all window and door installations.
Submit accurate applications to local municipalities and stay on top of all required documentation.
Follow up with city and county officials to keep approvals moving forward.
Communicate clearly with clients, installers, and project managers on permit status and next steps.
Troubleshoot any delays and keep projects on schedule.
Maintain a well-organized system for tracking permits, approvals, and documents.
Stay up to date on local codes and compliance requirements.
What You Bring to the Table:
A high school diploma is required; college coursework or degree is a plus.
Prior experience in permitting, construction, or office coordination is highly valued.
You’re organized, detail-obsessed, and great at juggling multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills—you’re just as comfortable emailing the city as you are chatting with clients.
Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Familiarity with Florida building codes or permit systems is a big bonus.
A proactive, team-first mindset and the ability to work independently.
