Our Metal Lathe/Milling Machinist will help the fabrication department with all their needs. Thew ideal candidate will have a variety of a skillset from machining to welding to reading of blue prints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates and maintains metal lathe and milling machines.
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
- Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
- Welding experience is a must
- Fabrication experience is a plus
- Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
- Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
