Boat Detailer
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Boat Detailer to join our growing boat business! If you are passionate about boats and you would like to give your contribution in creating a great company culture, this is the right position for you!
Your job will be to provide support for the work of the Service Department by performing a variety of tasks. In this position, your primary duty will be detailing boats and preparing them to be sold.
They are accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. The list, however, is not necessarily an exhaustive description of the duties and responsibilities associated with the position. The Boat Detailer also completes additional items as needed and requested by the Management Team.
Requirements:
- Clean Boats inside and outside
- Prep Boats for customer purchase and showroom floor
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- May cross train to perform other duties (driving forklifts, etc.)
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager
Essential Job Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Housekeeping or car detailing experience is preferred
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Attention to detail a must
- May lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
- Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
- Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
