What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Specialist position at Reeder Trausch Marine?

Quality service is a must at Reeder Trausch Marine and we are growing our team to maintain the needs of our growing customer base. We’re looking for an individual who is professional, reliable and understands the value of customer care. Candidate must have excellent attention to detail.
We are looking for a candidate that is comfortable with using technology to manage parts and work orders in our dealership system.
Responsibilities:
- Pull parts for technicians by reviewing the upcoming schedule
- Verify the correct parts are sold to correct work orders
- Use different part catalogs to look up and order parts needed for maintenance and repairs
- Check in parts as they arrive
- Manage returns and core returns, including warranty
- Use in house DMS to accurately manage parts flow and inventory
- Monitor stocking parts to ensure proper inventory is maintained (i.e. filters, oil, fluids, maintenance, and major parts, etc.)
- Make sure inventory is properly displayed in the Pro Shop
- Take care of the customers needs in the Pro Shop, including interaction and selling
- Perform routine inventory checks
- Communicate effectively with with various departments and parts vendors
- Maintain cleanliness of parts room, including dusting and sweeping
