We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing data efficiently, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various databases and systems. The Variable Data Processor will complete task related to the accurate and timely completion of orders per customer specifications using a variety of desktop publishing equipment and intergrated software packages. This may include receiving, evaluating, and modifying more complex customer files, and the training of new technicians on specific skills and procedures.
Uses various desktop publishing and proprietary software packages to prepare customer files for printing. Set up new projects to process through existing applications for both mail and email projects. Reviews and manipulates client data for integration to digital print job. Sorts, analyzes, and processes incoming/outgoing records, list addresses.
Responsibilities
- Input and manage data within various databases and systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Transcribe information from paper documents into digital formats.
- Perform order entry tasks to ensure timely processing of requests.
- Maintain organized files and documentation to support data retrieval and reporting.
- Regularly review data for errors or inconsistencies and take corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data processing workflows.
- Build production files and proof for digital print area.
- Advise customer regrading format and technical issues for the best quality printing.
- Advise third parties how best to interface with company workflows.
- Recommend, advise, and direct best procedures to comply with USPS regulations.
- Process data received through our tape processing system.
Experience
- Proven experience in data processing or a similar clerical role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using databases and computer systems for data entry and management.
- Familiarity with Excel for data manipulation and reporting is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality output in all tasks performed.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and organization of information.
- Ability to learn custom third-party software and internally developed applications.
- Office 365 with strong emphasis on Excel and Access.
- Compliance with tight production deadlines.
