Job Summary:
The Contract Renewal Specialist is responsible for managing the renewal process for service contracts, ensuring high customer retention, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role involves proactively engaging with customers, analyzing contract details, preparing renewal quotes, and collaborating with internal teams to facilitate seamless contract extensions. This position requires strong communication, organization, and analytical skills to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and contract continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track the renewal lifecycle of existing service contracts
- Prepare and send renewal quotes, ensuring accuracy in pricing and terms
- Proactively follow up with customers before contract expiration to discuss renewal options
- Work closely with sales, finance, and customer support teams to facilitate contract renewals
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high renewal rates
- Address customer concerns regarding contract terms, pricing, and service levels
- Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities and communicate potential value-adds to customers
- Work with finance and sales teams to ensure proper invoicing and contract documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, or other tools used by Rees Scientific)
- Identify and implement best practices to improve the efficiency of the renewal process
- Monitor renewal rates, analyze trends, and recommend solutions to improve contract retention.
- Secure approvals for contract modifications when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in contract management, sales support, or customer service, preferably in a technical or service-oriented industry
- Strong understanding of contract terms, pricing structures, and service agreements.
